Hello All,

I'm reading this board since few days now and i tried to update the map of my Tomtom Carminat version 8842.
The original map is map/France 870.3413 and i'm trying to install this new one France 950.6493.
I have followed these steps : nissan-renault-f111/how-install-map-carminat-tomtom-t7032.html

So, i took my sd from my car, plug in my laptop and copy all content to a new one (simpy copy & paste)
I have deleted the loopdir and old maps folders, then put my new map folder and rename it as "France".
Created the ttgo.bif file with this content :

DeviceUniqueID=XXXXX XXXXX
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8842

Finally i have downloaded FastActivate (topic14003.html) and put at the root of SD
I Run FastActivate.exe
Click on "Update Meta.txt"
Then i Clicked on "Patch Navcore(ttsystem/PNDNavigator)" and i get this error :

File Missing - ( ttsystem or PNDNavigator )

Appuyez sur une touche pour continuer...


Do you know why i have this ? I see it many times on the board but no answers.

Did you install the original software? It seems not because ttsystem.dat is missing.

Read this post and you will succeed.

Okay, make sure your ttgo.bif file is not saved as .bif.txt so that it has a hidden file extension.
Next, lose the space character in the device ID.

Thank to your message i have been able to update the map.
I didn't understood that i have to install navcore on my sd card and then patch it. Now it's working better.
Last thing, can i use this sd card with tomtom or it will corrupt it ?
I want to use it to add POI (Radar also named dangerous zone) or car icone or change the voice.

@varenummer : I have already downloaded all files from t411 but the topic of Razorblatter contains everything too.

It works for me too.

I've also didn't understood that I must install navcore on SD and so faced the same problem.
I've found the navcore here http://www.navitotal.com/post121524.html and then follow the post mentionned by Razorblatter.

i can find these tow file in navcore files
• IA0000700005swlimage0.zip
• IA0000700005swlimage1.zip

These two files are within the navcore archive. Which you download.

"Download the last navcore for Tomtom Carminat.
4. Extract it with Winrar, then go to "install/DS_1" and copy these two file

• IA0000700005swlimage1.zip
