Mon Oct 14, 2013 9:07 am

Dr.Livingstone would like to present you with a complete Igo installation for Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Samsung Galaxy S3 UK users.

This release contains:
Three versions of the main application, each optimized for different devices.
The main apps are named after the device that the sys.txt is optimized for.

Choose from:
LivingstoneN4.apk for Nexus 4 devices
LivingstoneN7.apk for original Nexus 7's, not the new one.
LivingstoneS3.apk for Samsung Galaxy S3 devices.

All the latest maps, files and licenses for full UK operation.

The versions and features included are:

323613 global.cfg
12 June 2013 buildings
9th September 2013 Maps for UK and Ireland (Q2 2013 Navteq maps)
June 2013 UK Speedcams
Historical speed data 14 March 2012
Branded icons
Original speedcam icons
GjAk_v2.0_AriNe-46 skin
Notification bar visible
POIs and for UK and ROI dated 17 July 2013
Working TMC, TTS Pro and Google search
Petrol Station buildings with logos

This release should work on most devices but has only been (extensively) tested on Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Samsung S3 devices.

All functions are fully operational, TTS Pro, TMC, full postcodes, searches and has everything you need to navigate in the UK and Ireland.

It's in three parts, you need all of them.

Installation instructions:

Make sure you have Unknown Sources ticked under settings, Security.

Unrar the archive to your device. This will create a folder called igo.

Navigate to the igo folder with a file manager of your choice and launch the igolivingstonexx.apk that matches your device. This will install the app.

You will now have an Igo icon in your app list. Launch it and enjoy the best navigation experience available.

Enjoy and press the thanks button if it works for you, it takes a lot of effort to round everything up and make it work!

Ok, I've just downloaded the files from the links above and successfully unpacked them using the password livingstone!
I notice that you've spelt the password wrong in your reply, you're missing the e on the end of livingstone. May I suggest you try again?

*edit* sorry guys, I had left the e out on the original post. Corrected it now.

I don't have that device so none of these versions are made for it. You'll need to adjust the sys.txt to match your devices resolution. You can also try deleting any files in the skin folder.

I should be installed on phone or SD memory card storage?

xxsparksxx79 Try deleting the contents of the skin folder and see if that helps.

asifacma I think it should work from either location. Try one then the other and report back which one worked for you.

I had a similar problem to xxcsparksxx except my 'close down' came directly after trying to launch the map page (the rest of the program worked fine).

My 'fix' was to select the GjAk_v2.0_AriNe-46 skin (it defaults to 'default' skin) and it loads fine now.
