I recently got a 40 Easy. I've tried upgrading the maps to Q2 2019, but an error about navigon.exe pops-up, when trying to view the map.

Also, is it possible to change color scheme and background?

I made a backup of my Navigon 40 (without maps) and uploaded it to WeTransfer (link will expire 19th of august). You can use it to recover your device. Firmware is latest version (8.2.0 if i'm not mistaken)

Don't forget to make a backup of your device first before overwriting files!

Color scheme and background can't be edited (only day and night mode)

Hi RockyTDR I was wondering if you still had the backup of the Navigon 40 easy that you made and could make available for download again. I have taken ownership of one but am not convinced it hasn`t been modified so looking to restore to default.

Doing a factory reset should bring everything to default settings. I sent you a link to my backup in PM.
