Just want to add a quick thanks, I've just bought a 2016 Skoda Citigo which came with a "Move & Fun" Garmin device :-

After poking about found the maps were still Q4 2013. Couldn't get the Fresh software from Garmin, nothing but dead links. Other GPS sites not very tolerant of those not in the know. Other posts trailed off with no resolution. Most frustrating :-)

Anyhoo, found this post, with a mention that the the above pack works on the VW "Maps and More" unit. I can confirm I've just updated my Skoda unit too.

1. Downloaded torrent from the magnet link above.
2. Attached the unit to my laptop (a Mac, but shouldn't make a difference).
3. Copied the /Navigon directory from the unit to my desktop in case I screwed something up.
4. Removed the "Finland.map","Sweden.map" & "Poland.map" files from the /Navigon/Maps directory, since space was tight and I'll not be going there :-)
5. Removed the .nfs files and the "United Kingdom.map" file from the /Navigon/Maps directory, as these were the ones to be replaced.

MapDrawer_Skoda.nfs
MapDrawer_VW.nfs
NavigonRealityView_EU.nfs

6. Copied the now missing .nfs & "United Kingdom.map" files from the torrent to the /Navigon/Maps directory on the unit. Ignored .nfs files that I didn't originally have.
7. Ejected the unit from the laptop and fired it up.
8. On the unit, selected "Navigation", "More functions", "Settings", "Map Display"
9. On page 2, select "Countries in", and choose "Europe Version Q4 2020" and "OK".

Ik ben Ton en beschik sinds kort over een Skoda Citigo. Ik heb de Navigon kunnen overnemen van iemand en jawel, het volgende verzoek aan jullie:

Ik weet dat het programma Fresh niet meer is te downloaden bij Garmin en ook niet meer via de eerder hier vernelde link.
Nu vraag ik mij af, of iemand (de software van) dat programma nog ergens los op zijn pc heeft staan?!
Met de usb-kabel kan ik nu aansluiten via de laptop voor het opladen, maar kan dus niet bij het geheugen en inhoud om zodoende bv adressen en telnrs. te importeren..

Ik hoop dat er iemand is die of de software nog heeft, óf evt een andere link. Ik heb me al dagen rotgezocht via Google etc.

Please read the prevous post (maps-for-navigon/navigon-freshmaps-europe-2020-t21957-15.html#p181875). You don't need Navigon Fresh. Your usb cable is probably broken.

Top! Dank je voor deze snelle reactie. De usb-kabel schijnt het probleem niet te zijn. Hij maakt via mijn kabel wel een connect met de laptop. Maar omdat ik het programma Fresh niet op de laptop heb staan, laat hij me alleen de losse bestanden zien van zijn intern geheugen. Zodoende heb ik nog geen mogeljkijkheid om mijn adressen en telnrs te kunnen importeren.
Via Fresh (of een ander proggie zou dat toch) mogelijk moeten zijn.. Ik kan nu niet zomaar data toevoegen op het intern geheugen van de Navigon.

Hi Ton, please use English on this forum. This makes it easier for the other forum members to understand and reply to your questions.

If I remember correctly, Navigon Fresh doesn't support importing contacts (but I could be wrong). You can try asking your question in the correct subforum (here: software-nfs-skins/) or Googling where to find the Navigon Fresh exe (for example: [Please Register or Login to download file] which doesn't look too shady )

I have a big problem: I have replaced the files (only the ones with the exact same name) on my "Navigon 70/71 Premium Car" and now all the important countries for my trip (Germany, UK, Netherlands, France, etc) don't show in the list anymore when I have to select a country in the navigation screen. Do you have any idea how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated if you know what might have gone wrong or how to fix it...

Thanks in advance for any quick ideas (my trip is very soon)!

... figured it out. had to select the correct map package on the device when starting/resetting it.

I have just installed on VW UP. Working perfectly. Thank you very much.

Q4 2020 is the latest update. It's a pity, but Navigon died.

Iknow, but maybe it was possible to use other new maps from other Navigon or Garmin devices. I have a rebranded Navigon to Garmin device.

Why does it tell me that the file is corrupt?

The link doesn't work anymore. How can I download the map?
