Hello. Because I don't really understand how else to insert the map.
I have a garmin nuvi 200. Could you just give me an img file that I would put on an SD card from Eastern Europe. Thank you in advance

A single file for Eastern Europe is available in Post #1
Dependent on the size of your SD card your device should be able use both West & East .img files to give you the whole of Europe

Garmin\gmapsupp.img
Garmin\gmapsup1.img

If for your nuvi 1490 it uses NT maps for Europe

i tried using the simulator mode for a route i know there should be a junction view, and the "junction view" option comes up but when i press it the display goes blank and the unit powers down so Im guessing its not compatible. I downloaded it and the UK ROI maps together from the same link post

There is no junction view file just covering UK & ROI, most members use the files for the whole of Europe on an SD card unless their devices have an issue with file sizes or a damaged SD card slot.
Read this post as nuvi 13xx 14xx use all the same layout & files.

Sorry to trouble you again..

I copied the East and West map and jcv files from the top of this post and set up an sd card and put in my Nuvi 1490tv as per the post you referenced and the maps are fine but the junction views aren't showing up.

Is right, make sure your device software is up to date using Garmin Express
Use simulation mode to test Junction view.

I used simulation mode and junction view was greyed out at places I know there should be.

No idea why it worked, but I put the UK map I downloaded from the top of this post into the onboard memory of the Nuvi and put the jcv files on a folder jcv in the root of that drive and it works. All the same files remain on the SD card

I also changed country to Spain and tried junction view there and it's working.

Weird but it works !

Oh, and Garmin express told me the device is up to date as well

It seems they were in the Maps folder, but now this folder is inactive.

Welcome to the forum, it's a good idea to tell us what device you have as they are NOT all the same.
Maps is a sub title not a link
SID files are a part of NTU Europe maps

I have a Chrysler uConnect 8.4N car system (model RB4 (European version) manufactured by Panasonic) with integrated Garmin navigator.
I don’t know what model of Garmin device it contains.
And I see that the NT 2024.10 maps for North America have SID and SQlite folders.
Can I use SID and SQlite files from NTU Europe 2024.20 in Europe NT 2024.10?

There is a whole section for these Head units, you are right there are SID & SQLite PNX folders.

Your device is not an Automotive device & does not use Junction View or 3d Building images (gmap3d.img).
