Welcome to the forum, unless you patch your device these Unlocked maps won't work
First look in your garmindevice.xml and confirm your HWID
<PartNumber>006-B2267-00</PartNumber>
<SoftwareVersion>590</SoftwareVersion>
<Description>Drive 40</Description>
Then go to
software/universal-firmware-patcher-for-protected-garmin-devices-t17987-420.html#p175604

If this is for your Kenwood Garmin GVN60 again, maybe download the gmap folder and use Mapsource then you can be independent and create a custom map set that works for you. Garmin created Central region without Portugal so it would not exceed the 4GB file size limit.

Good afternoon, thank you for your attention. The logical route would be Spain, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Lithuania and Latvia. Maximum capacity is just under 5 gigabytes and the model is a Kenwood Garmin GVN60 module in a Golf mk7.

I got the maps to work on my Nuvi 30 just fine, so thank you!
However, my .JCV file doesn't work, the "junction view" option is greyed out. Do i need to do more than just drag and drop the file to the jcv folder?

Welcome to the forum
Your device uses Raster Junction View 212x234 jcv files D6166190A.jcv & D6136190A.jcv if you used the JCV file from any region they are the wrong type for your device.
