That's true, City Navigator South America 2023 is ready to download with Garmin Express but ...
There are some issues with this Map: most of Additional Files (JCV, SID, G2S, etc) and gmap3d too are the same of previous release (2022.10).
Only MapSource version (.gmap folder) and IMG Mpa (gmapprom.img) are updated, all other files will not work.
We must wait for Garmin to resolve this issue before posting this Mapset

Oh, I didn't know that, thanks for the explanation. Does it happen on LM units? I just got a nuvi 50LM and updated it, but since I do not have the clip for it yet I didn't have the chance to test it.

Another question, I own a bunch of old 2XX nuvis. Since those only require the gmapprom.img, would it work as it is now on them?

The updated map file ***** .img will work on all devices, you just won't have all the features associated with the additional files

This hosted version downloaded in 15min's, but as above the only file you can use is the map file as the others are still from 2022.10
