Garmin Mobile XT CE for Chinanavi with 800x480

Garmin for devices 800x480 running Windows CE




I could not test it on the road as I only use the bluecharts with Garmin.

To start use the Garmin.exe in the folder RunGMXT.

Attention : Since I could only test it on my device I can't tell if it will work on all devices so please give your feedback!
If you want to try it on a PDA you might want to check the settings for the taskbar in the Mortscript.

For the language problem :
1. click the green button
2. click the blue button
3. click on the tool sign in the middle
4. click on the toolsign in the top left corner
5. click on the PDY symbol on the lower left
6. click into the 3rd row
7. select American English
8. click the exit button on the lower left

Just want to share running this Garmin XT V.5.30TW version.

I have GPS 7" (800x480) Mesada 980C work with WinCE5 and 64MB RAM directory name StorageCard.
Try using program from post1 (garmin for storagecard) but failed to run. Direct run from App\WM\Que.exe also failed.

Then check on IDA and I found Que.exe to be work only with CE6 (set with aygshell.dll not Aygshel2.dll that could be for CE5) then change Que.exe with Aygshel2.dll--->working!!

If anyone have similar problem with me, change using Hex editor at ;
0x3C9BC2 : 6C --> 32
0x42F02B : 4C --> 32
This will change Que.exe call aygshell.dll to aygshel2.dll

If you are still fail to run on WinCE5 or WinCE4, tray to change coredll.dll into coredl2.dll (for winCE4 manually rename file coredl2.wince4.dll into coredl2.dll), at address :
0x3EA0A0 : 6C ---> 32
0x42EF9C : 4C ---> 32
This will change from coredll.dll into coredl2.dll.

I used his file to build versions for most SD cards (same as above).
Please download the whole archive and unpack to your PC, rename the file that suits your device to Que.exe and replace the file from the above installation.

Good job man, i didn't have device with 800x480 to make some release for these kind of devices, on my chinese pna 480x272 i use artful's modificated version of original - karagiosis release, and it works like a charm... I tested on road, it works ok, but normally cracked app is a little bit more slowly than original, that's just sometimes problem, and no posibilty for changing lang diferent than eng and chinese :) ...

For problem with ID related on win ce 6.0 pnas artful published fix, but this can be fixed by entering 0 in jm keygen, and then generate key for sw.unl, it worked for me ;) , problem is that on chinese pnas SD CARD is called SDMMC :) ...

Once very nice job man ;) , CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Yes I tried them all but none of these version will work on the big screens.
On my old ICN520 I get the other versions working but for my new GPS-brick I needed something that is more reliable.
Took some time to get it working but in the end only the result counts - and that is another first release for NaviTotal :)

It seems I to reviev my release :(
marylouise was right with paths - it works on all SD cards but the settings are not loaded if the card has a name different to "SDMMC".
Not sure if it is possible to add a check that automatially changes the EXE so for the time being I will supply a modified "QueCE.EXE" for the different SD cards out there.
If there are any requests ...


And there is still no other version that works on these no name 800x480 devices :)
The others are fine for all up to 480x272 but above most versions will fail one way or the other....

I have tried install it in 2DIN China Brand Multi Media Player + GPS with screen resolution 800x480, when I run the script garmin.exe , it didn't show any thing, and also I got no error message.
I can run PapagoX5 Se and IGO8 on this unit, please advice how to make it run in my 2DIN GPS.

Without further info it will almost impossible to give you a good advice.
You have to use the folder "Garmin" for the installation and use the correct EXE for your SD card.

The storage card in my 2din named "StorageCard" and I created folder called Garmin and I put all the files inside Garmin folder, and I also replace the Que.exe inside folder APPS\WM with the one I downloaded for StorageCrad. When I run the garmin.exe from folder RunGMXT, it didn't show anything.
What other info do you need ?

Have you adjusted the paths inside the XML file(s) as well as inside the mscr file ?

Yes, I changed the paths follow your guide line, change both in SCR and XML files.
