Thanks for the information, much appreciated.
Below is the HWID for my device.
<PartNumber>006-B2587-00</PartNumber>
<SoftwareVersion>600</SoftwareVersion>
<Description>Garmin Drive 61</Description>
Is there a way to do a patch myself or need a kind person well experienced?
Also, what shall be the folder structure of SD card once the patch is created?
Thanks in advance

However, when I click on any of the three links I am redirected too Mega and there are no files available for download. I am a member of Mega. Am I doing something wrong? Once again any help would be much appreciated.

intrepid wrote:Once again, many thanks GarminNuvi. I was able to download the three files, the third link "nuvi65_66_560_Patched.gcd & Nuvi 65-66 (1749) fw5.60.SD card Patch kit"
is the same file "RGNTOOL" as in the second link. Am I missing something again ? I do have ample space in my Mega account. Sorry to keep bugging you but I would love to get my Garmin 65 to accept unlocked maps. Right now it is locked to U.S.A. maps and I live in Canada.
