Is it possible to unlock the Garmin Drive 51 with software version 621?

The xml file on my device shows:
<PartNumber>006-B2586-00</PartNumber>
<SoftwareVersion>621</SoftwareVersion>
<Description>Garmin Drive 51</Description>

I tried to search for software version 621 in this thread but couldn't find any results.
Thank you

This <SoftwareVersion>621</SoftwareVersion> would normally suggest your device has already been patched as most would advance the version number from 6.20 to 6.21 to avoid the firmware being overwritten by GE. [Please Register or Login to download file]
Have you tried to use unlocked maps ?

Thanks for replying to my post.
I have tried to use unlocked maps but they don't show up on the device. I installed the Northwest EU map from the "City Navigator Europe 2021.10 NT FID 8356 Unlocked" page. This was named 'gmapsupp.img' which I put into a folder named 'GARMIN' on the SD Card.
I checked the satnav with a tool called JaVaWa Device Manager which shows the installed map on the card with no errors reported.
Do I need to run the patcher again?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

You should have said you already Patched it ,"Do I need to run the patcher again?"
Your device can use NT maps, but it is designed for NTU maps in Europe
Put the gmapsupp.img in the Map folder first
<Name>SupplementalMaps</Name>
-<File>
-<Specification>
<Identifier>IMG</Identifier>
</Specification>
-<Location>
<Path>Map</Path>
<BaseName>gmapsupp</BaseName>
<FileExtension>img</FileExtension>

Can you help? or is there anyone you know can help?

Do NOT use a PM to ask questions, that is what the forum is for.
Your Echomap Plus 63CV is covered in the Patch below but NOT your 7616XSV

Dear all,
First wish you all to be healthy, and happy X-mass!
I have a garmin drivesmart 61:
<Model>
<PartNumber>006-B2587-00</PartNumber>
<SoftwareVersion>620</SoftwareVersion>
<Description>Garmin Drive 61</Description>

Found a patch for unlock, reading forum - but - DriveSmart 61 FW 6.30 HWID 2588 ONLY.
Pretty sure, it will be not suitable in my case, so homble ask for help.
Thanks in advance.
With best regards, and wishes.

You cannot use any other firmware other than the one designed for the hardware of the device, that is why the HardWare ID is critical
Just use your HWID to search this topic
