Help required please for my TT XL one I have tried various Navcores and various Maps but what every I do I can not get it too work.Can you tell me which Navcore I need and also which Map do I need plus where to download them .
I have got Fast active,BBS tools etc and tried to get them activated but just get a message No Maps.
Ny help much appreciated.

There is no need to patch the navcore...use the latest FastActivate to activate the map

Do a full backup first, then delete everything and start from scratch...it doesn't take long

Thanks - I did try last night and kept crashing then rebooting when selecting a voice.I'll give it another go, failing that I could try the voices folder from my backup

First I assume your Tomtom Home software is up to date. When you connect your navigation device to the computer, confirm the connection on the device screen. The Tomtom Home software should work, if not, run it. Check if the installed applications are up to date, if any, install new ones. You can do this in two ways. 1- To a new file with normal copying. 2- It is your choice to create a backup using Tomtom Home software. We took the backup, close the Tomtom Home software and remove it from the taskbar so that it does not run in the background. Format the memory of your device with the computer, when the process is finished, turn off the device and disconnect the computer connection cable. Turn the device back on, connect the cable to the computer, then run the Tomtom Home software and select the update my device option on the information screen. Select the option to update and install later, when the installation is finished, press DONE and wait for the device to restart.
