Android IGO Primo 9.6.7.235654 - KML

Postby e1822 » Sun Sep 30, 2012 11:37 pm

I put POI's as KML files in content/userdata/POI - work just fine :)

I put routes as KML files in content/userdata/route acting strange
mostly ignors those routes i.e "more/load route" dose not see those files.
instead when I create route it save it as .dat file in save/profiles/02/routes

thanks for help

Just so you know...you are not being ignored. Personally, I don't have the answer for you. But maybe by this reply putting it into the "New Post" category, somebody who works more with KML files will see it and provide help.

Although one thing is a bit odd.
That Primo automatically converts a route to a *.dat file is nothing new, however...unless any additional Profiles are created, the default should always be ..profiles/01/*.
You could try moving those created files (using the same subfolder structure) to the ../save/profiles/01 folder and see if they then show up.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

1. I have no complaints
2. I tried to put KML (route) files In any folder that make some sense - no luck.
3. My guess that this is due to any wrong parameter value
in some sys.txt or system.ini or other that cause IGO to ignore
the content/userdate/route folder.
