OK Vlad thanks for your help. I've been reading quite a bit on this forum. Now that I know which OS I'm using, should I just start with iGO or iGO8.3.5 since I'm starting from scratch?

You'll have to run an iGO as portable application but you must find iGO8.exe via file explorer and execute the program

I have a Chinese smartphone, no matter which version of iGo I install,with or without sys changed apk, never one of the skins is displayed.
The only choice i have is standard day or standard night.
The skins are placed ath the right place: sdcard/iGo/content/skin.
Otherwise there are no problems with the programs.
What am I doing wrong?

Thanks filesupload100 i have read post 141 (already before your answer).
I have now, again, installed the files from post 1 " iGO Primo Isr Free_v.2.4_9.6.29.383117 (03 Apr 2014) "( with doupas, gurjon and dimka skin in the skin folder), first with "crk_sys_changed" then (after uninstall, deleting sys.txt and save folder and restart) with "crk_sys_not_changed" ,but none of the skins is showing up.

You need the apk from post #134, not from post #1.

Thanks you foor the file filesupload100 but ......... stil no skins visible. I think that the resolution of the smartphonescreen 540x960 cause the problem.

srb is for locale settings sys.txt changed
