iGo Primo Basarsoft. Problem, question?

Postby tomn222 » Fri May 02, 2014 8:40 am

Hi everyone,

At the beginning I would say that in Android we have 3 main channels of sound output: Ringtone, Media and Alarms.
I'm wondering why in this version of iGo the output channel of sound is "Alarm". I mean when you want to change volume in iGo it changes volume of "Alarms" not the "media" channel. Someone know how to change that because it is very annoying when you forget to turn it on you can fall asleep next day...

Please help!

PS: Also I cannot find here maps for iGo :(

Maps for iGO/Primo can be found on the iGO maps sub-forum

Look up the jelly bean fix, I think it was just an sys.txt entry that changed the audio stream igo uses.
Currently sleeping...

I changed in sys.txt audio stream to "music". Installed sound_fix version and nothing helps. Still "Alarm" stream :(

You may have to delete the "save" folder after making changes to sys.txt - worth a try mate?

Didn't help.... Still "Alarm" stream. It looks like sys.txt not working :/

Have you tried blanking out that particular line out all together, I think its optional anyway.

When I delete "select audio stream" section nothing happens. Also changing number do not change anything? Can you try changing stream in your sys.txt file?

Here is my sys.txt file:

Problem is, even though vladcepesh does an execellent job of keeping us updated with this app there is very little instruction supplied with changes. I think that some of the lines in some of the sys.txt files probably only work if you are using a certain skin?

I'm using default skin. But I do not think that selection of output audio works only with certain skin. There must be something else, which I'm not able to find :(

I am hit by the same problem.

Unzip the apk file. Locate and unzip apk\assets\config_zip\aa (it's a zip). Update the file for your device. Also update file apk\res\raw\sys.txt since you are already here. I don't know either file works but I tried both.
Now make a similar zip file just like the apk file and rename it to .apk file. Use this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=kellinwood.zipsigner2&hl=en to sign it. Now you are good to go.
