After installation 36 mbs to download more and works!!

I got the 36 mb on upgrade from 1.14 over the 1.13.2, but can't connect to TomTom for download additional maps and voices?

Delete all and make a clean installation !

I made a clean installation on another phone with the same problems. Doesn't even connect on the first startup from GP version.

Uninstall the patched version, install original from playstore tomtom app,download desired map, close app, than only uninstall app, and install patched version and try again to download maps.

I already did that. Uninstalled everything, deleting the map in android data. Reinstall from playstore. But program hangs on start up. "Not able to connect to tomtom. Check your Internet " is the message I get. And only thing I can do is closing program. I have the same message on another phone where I installed 1.14 over 1.13.2, when I want to download maps or voices. That's why I started from scratch on first phone where I also started with 1.14 over 1.13.2. Thought starting from playstore would solution my problem. But instead nothing worked. Thx for help.

You can do something...
Try to restore your Android phone, delete data and everything, backup your device first and then try again to install !!

It's strange that I did the upgrade on two phones and have the same problem. TT works perfect, even traffic, but not possible to download voices or maps. Pity I erased on one of them.

I have an S6 and x cover 3 with 64gb card. On the first one I did upgrade to 1.14 over 1.13.2. Runs perfect with traffic, but can't connect to TomTom for download maps or voices. Did the same thing with the x cover 3. Same problem. Therefore I Uninstalled everything on this one an deleted the com.tomtom.gplay.navapp in Android data. Installed with original app from post and with app from playstore. In both cases program hangs on startup not able to connect to TomTom. Says I have to check Internet connection. I don't know what to do. Complete restore from phone is to complex and dangerous losing something. Hopefully someone can help us.

I think it's a tomtom domain connection problem, even the version from playstore cannot connect to tomtom.
Tried some older versions who have worked before and they all say the same : unable to connect, check your internet connection.
It will probably resolve itself in a couple of days.

Anyone having the same problem with a fresh install as of 12 december?

I have the problem since update from 1.14 over 1.13.2 date 08/12. Everything runs well, but you can't download maps or voices. Therefore I did a complete uninstall on one of the two phones. I tried everything, but not possible to pass after installation of original apk. I have a S6 (with running version without download possibilities) and a xcover3 with 64 Gb extSdCard (with nothing it all since I Uninstalled and can't connect to the Internet after installing playstore version)

I dont know what could be wrong with your phones, i have been Updated this app without uninstall the old version, i have western europe and Ibéria Map and no problem at all, i tried to download a small map ( Greece ) with data from my S7 and everything goes ok

Me to I installed the 1.14 over the 1.13.2 but can't connect to Internet for download. Everything works even traffic. Fresh install with playstore not possible because you can't connect to Internet on first run.

Works fine for me, I installed this 1.14 over my 1.12, without uninstalling the old version.
No problem connecting internet to download maps.
BTW, I am using a cheap Redmi phone!
