Yes, of course. Sygic and Google navigation can lock GPS very fast. Maybe it is a secret of source code between them, how they manage the connection. Usually i use Sygic for a few minutes to lock the signal. (u can see the signal bar on the top - information bar). If signal is full, i close sygic then turn on papago. i just wait for a few seconds to get a position. BUT - if gps signal (in sygic) not very strong, Papago will force the device to stronger the signal (that's why your phone will become hot and battery drain very fast - i think).
Anyway, papago is always better in term of map updates

These can be solved by TURNING OFF Mobile data network while navigate it!

I just realize something new few days back, its the data connection permission that is messing up the app :) I've downloaded a permission management app from Play Store and disable the data permission then I can access Papago with Data ON w/o any problem ;)

guys.. im using galaxy note ics.. downloaded all the files.. install by following the instruction 1,2,3.. and yet.. when i open the M9.. it says can not open map. why is this happen? need help.. thx

Downloap map from MFM then extract. copy all files to
/sdcard/navisea/maps/malaysia
