Wouldn't Garmin be better than Papago.

Both have it's own advantages and disadvantages. Such as traffic light, Garmin shows as "tfl" and Papago show the actual icon (red, yellow, green).

Actually, I just want to install Papago to my new Star N8000 phone. After I found it works, I try it on my Garmin-Asus A50 and it's working too. Both I run from external storage /sdcard/.

Did extract the map files and copy to the correct folder, ie NaviSea\Map\

Thanks for your kind reply, the map files are in NaviSea\Maps\ folder, and I also read across other GPS forums that the map files is under the NaviSea\Maps\..

Just want to reconfirm with you that are you currently using PAPAGO M9 with the map files under the Navisea\Map\ folder and it worked well for you?

Thanks and regards,

Yes mine is working fine. Are you using M9 while running mobile data?

I ran M7 and X5 before with data plan on and off without any problem. Does M9 need to be run with the data plan off?

Some phones can and some can't but my S3 has no issue with data plan turned on.
