You need to download a firewall app for android. There are many free firewall apps available in google play. I downloaded "Android Firewall", it is free and works for my phone (htc one x running ICS). In the firewall setting, i use "blacklist" mode (i.e. only those I selected in the list will be "blocked", others will be allowed). I selected to block the data traffic of navitotal. See the snapshot below.
