You don't really "put"..the junction view files are contained within data.zip (./config/junctionview/800_480_Lanes), and I don't really recommend messing about in data.zip.
Be aware that Junction View only applies to certain major highways in certain major areas within your map files. Like "buildings" and some other enhanced 3D features, not ALL areas are covered. If Junction View is enabled in settings, and your planned route includes a covered area (with an exit or specific maneuver that your route requires), it will pop up automatically. If not, maybe that area does not provide JV within your map files.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

Ah..OK. SOME Navteq maps (Singapore/Malaysia/Brazil and maybe some others?) apparently have separate FJV (Junction View) files released at the same time as the maps.
These (like FDA files and others) go into the same folder as the map (FBL) files. From what I understand (again like FDA files), the release dates must match. How these files are actually utilized by Primo2, I really could not say, but probably no harm in having them in your ../content/map folder.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

You may check out junction view's availability by selecting

->More>About>More>Content>Junction View

In my case, I have the original data.zip and just .fbl map files in ../Content/maps, and going thru the Content List, NNG junction view is listed and I can see JVC/Tunnel graphics.

These graphics are pre-stored/pre-arragned general graphic images, not like Garmin or other GPS software where you have specific junction views showing all relevant road signs, surroundings and lane directions with road/area names at that particular junction. Perhaps the .fjv is for this purpose.

Some people seem to have that issue on particular devices.
Things to try/check:
1) Make sure the content (Primo or iGo depending on which version you installed) is on the correct SD Card (for those that may have an Internal and External--the path Primo is looking for is /mnt/sdcard
2) Reboot the phone (it sometimes helps)
3) Uninstall/reinstall or try the Non-Root version.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

Thanks and not surprisingly, correct. Could not get this to work last night (IE at work). Now at home with Firefox, success!!

The first link works as of 8/9/12 BTW. I didn't need to try the other one.

Good. Glad you got it.
And I recently added a 3rd link....just in case. :p Some are bound to drop out eventually.

I got it downloaded, but installing took a bit of work. I ended up needing the non-root solution, even though my HTC Incredible 2 is rooted with CM7 installed. It's working perfectly, but I can't get TTS working, even though I've installed Ivona TTS and voices. No big deal. It's pretty damn impressive without it.

1000 different devices, 1000 different reasons for having to do something 'special'. ONE of the two APKs should work on MOST 480x800 devices..sometimes for reasons not fully understood. Subtle differences in file structures, etc. Glad you got it working.
For TTS, did you download the TTS 'voices' from the first post and 'install' one in your ../content/voice folder that matches your device language?

Yeah, it's a nice bit of kit. They did a very good job of mirroring the look and operation of the WinCE version. And that most content (maps, speedcam files, etc) is fully compatible is also convenient.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.

Tried the non rooted version, but the problem is the same...

Is there some *.ini file where i can look for line which describes path to global cfg file...

Not an 'ini' file..the path to the Primo/iGo folder is contained within sys.txt which is generated during the install of the APK.
The initial sys.txt is located in /data/data/com.navngo.igo.javaclient/sys.txt.
On a rooted phone, it can be pulled out and edited then put back. On an unrooted phone this would not be possible.
The path is defined within sys.txt like this:
[folders]
linked_root_list="/mnt/sdcard/Primo"

However, there would be no reason to change this unless the path to your SD Card is not /mnt/sdcard...and if not, you need to determine what the path actually is before editing sys.txt.

I have also read reports from people who say to delete or rename the DCIM folder on the SD Card, and suddenly Primo starts working. This sounds bizarre to me, and I certainly do not get the connection, but I am not about to argue the point if it actually works.
But that's just my opinion..I could be wrong.
