This version does not use TMC license as Primo version (in folder content/tmc), it uses [Please Register or Login to download file] (in [Please Register or Login to download file] ).
1. I have no idea how it will work at Italy or elsewhere. It works ok in Israel, but waze is more accurate with traffic updates.
2. "Carmit" is for announcing Hebrew street names. It can be sound funny nonsense overseas for sure.

Traffic is announced by 658108 in the Benelux. I have no idea of the source (NavNGo??) but the accuracy is questionable, as was the old TMC/Primo 2.4 combination where often false traffic jams were announced. If I had a Euro each time I drove over a row of standing cars However, sometimes (often) the warning was correct as well so one wonders about the source.

Could somebody help me?

First, check the default font size you are using on the device itself (S3, not the Nextgen app.).
