Is there any way to get the tomtom speed cams working on tomtom android

"Officially", no. Nobody has figured out a way yet that I know of.
The current workaround is to add speedcams as POIs from places like POI Plaza** (add the *.ovl and *.bmp files to tomtom\com.tomtom.{region name}\files\{region map name}\*.*).
This will display the speedcams on the map, but no audio warnings.

Thanks weird how they work but speedcams from here don't show

Speedcams in TomTom Android is by subscription only...at least for now. Unless someone figures out how to specifically 'fix' this, no official TomTom speedcam database is likely to work.
