To get this work on Android KitKat 4.4 you must copy tomtom folder to internal memory, not to MicroSd
1. Download all parts of your area.
2. Unpack anywhere.
3. Copy folder tomtom to your SD card.
4. Copy included .apk to your SD card.
5. Disable any internet connection in your phone (Put it into Airplane Mode)
6. Install the .apk
7. Launch the program. Let it load all it needs. Then close program.
8. Enable internet connection.
9. Enjoy!

it is useless that you put the files in upload, that stops after 2 downloads! I will never pay the premium choice!

How to use new TomTom v1.4 with Europe_940_5963 on Kit Kat?
Download this file [Please Register or Login to download file] , inside is one folder with name com.tomtom.Europe, this file copy and put to your SD Card in folder Android/data.
Now copy on your PC map Europe_940_5963 and rename to Europe, download FastActivate and put in folder Europe, run and choose 8. Android Activation and now choose Europe and map is activated.
Now copy map to your EXT SD Card in folder Android/data/com.tomtom.Europe/files/files and install apk file and run. If don't run restart your phone.
P.S. if don't won't to activate map go to option 1 from FastActivate Update Meta.txt.
