I guess the app as downloaded is supposed to work from the internal memory.
For those who want to run the app from the external SD card and are having the "unable to connect" error, this is the procedure to follow:
- Copy "com.tomtom.iberia" folder to "\Android\data" on your SD card (with a cardreader, not with the USB cable)
You must create another "files" folder inside the files folder and move all files to the last files folder
Only the metadata file has to be in the first "files" folder: com.tomtom.iberia\files(metadata.xml)\files\
- Edit the metadata file with the correct path to the "com.tomtom.iberia" folder of your external card, my path is:
<url location="file://mnt/external_sd/Android/data/com.tomtom.iberia"/>
- Copy included .apk to a folder of your SD card
- Disable any internet connection of your phone (airplane mode)
- Install the .apk
- Launch Tomtom, normally everything should be fine.
- Close program, enable internet connection, delete the .apk if you want.
