Hi Yurbuh Tuggly, I'm new to the forum and to the tomtom scene. I have an android phone, and was able to install Tomtom for Android v1.0 with Brazil map. The thing is, I don't need Brazil, I need Argentina... so I kept browsing the net until I found a tomtom map for argentina: Argentina Mapear 895.4436
I downloaded it, but apparently this map format won't work with the tomtom android app. Do you know if there's a workaround?

895.4453 maps work (if you also have the correct 631.meta), but you must start with an APK file that matches the map(s).
Without a specific "TomTom_Argentina.apk" (if one exists), adding maps will do nothing.

Can the "western europe" map work with "tomtom europe" apk? Or you have to choose western europe apk only for western europe map?
Is there a v1.1 apk somewhere for western europe?

Your eyes are not so old
TomTom v.1.1 are still in test-mode
So you have to be patient my friend

I found the western europe v1.1 just now (aptoide). But it still work for europe 1.1, I tested it. I just want to manage my 16Go on my S3 as it seems not possible to have maps data on external SD card.

works first time :)
i put the apk on the sdcard
and the folder tomtom on the phone memory
just disable wifi and 3g when usein the app

Works several times here... For the apk, it is only 23Mo, it doesn't worth putting on external sdcard, it is the map data that worth it.

Can also confirm that the TomTom Android Europa v.1.1 works... :)

Hello, I have installed tomtom europe on my samsung galaxy s2 and have downloaded uk/ireland map and have saved the mapin my external sd card. but when i run tomtom the legal notice is promped and i hit agree the screen goes blank then stops running "unfotunately, europe has stopped" , mobile data and wifi are off including any other apps, can anyone help?

You have to install the UK&IRE apk and the included UK&IRE maps, You can't use maps downloaded from the Tomtom section.
