I'm sure you mean KK 4.4.2, Android Kitkat's default policy is to mount any EXTERNAL SD cards as READ ONLY except for pre-installed software.
You can only change this if you are rooted
The workaround is to install to the app to INTERNAL memory and use the android settings to move the app to sd card.

thanks for the link, i tried UK version and installation worked without a hiccup, its working fine on my Note3 KK4.4.2 , a quick query though, when i click LIVE button it says "live services are not currently available please try again later, how can i enable live services? do i need to buy these services?

second query is how do i double check whether this app has got speed camera database available and working?

I had copy the folder inside "France 1.3.2.rar" on the SD card for my LG G Pad V500. (Android 4.4.2)
I install and execute the .apk... no problem, install finished correctly
But when I launch tomtom, it start and then I have a message in a grey windows asking "impossible to connect to tomtom, retry later"...
Only 2 choice are possible : Retry or Quit
Any idea ? :022:
