Just what I was looking for for my S9plus on my next motorcycle trip, as stated by bro spzjulien, I just loaded up the APK and no more to do I'm ready to go. No fuss.
I'm so please to see that we still have forums like this to support all us keen GPS enthusiasts all around the world.

When exist new maps it shows in the app to update.

I tested this today and it worked flawlessly. It works much better than googlemaps when used offline (ie. without a data connection and only a GPS).

it's downloading for me. very slowly but already at 20%

Edit: finished download in about 10 minutes. it's a big file, make sure you're on wifi. 100% working.
