I have been back on 1.4 for a while.
Ca someone enlighten me exactly how to do this please?
There have been so many different replies in past i gave up as i could never see if mine was fully cracked.

Install original version from the Play store, run it till you get to download map options - then uninstall. Copy patched .apk to your phone and install - then run, now you can add any maps you want. Check expiry date by going to Menu - Upgrade - should see Freemium license Valid until 31/12/2100. You might have to turn it off and on again.
