Tomtom 1.2 with maps

The new 1.2 version is out, so time to provide it with some new 910 maps.

Copy the tomtom folder to the SD, install the APK, enjoy.

If you need more than one map to work with:
Download the archives for the areas you need.
Install the APK and copy the content folder to the SD - like a normal single install.
From the other archives you copy the map folder(s) into the folder "tomtom\com.tomtom.italia\files" - you will see the first map folder there for confirmation that you are in the right place.
When done the TT APK will still only use the first installed map!
To change between maps download the TT map changer : [Please Register or Login to download file] - now the 1.1 version for all TT APK's, Created by our Fatboyfun, so all credits to him!
Install the APK, start the MapChanger and TT will ask you what map to use.
All settings for the map(s) will remain untouched, so I think it is a pretty good tool to have :)

The map can't be an EXE file!
The password is easy to find if you read the first posting completely ;)

downloaded uk and ireland but apk states its italia and so does the tomtom folder. Run it anyway and the uk map opens but when I try typing in a post code or town its not accepting what I type, can only see one letter when I type. Dont have this problem with v1.1.1

AFAIK postcodes are neither included with the APK nor the map, so you have to install them yourself.
USA map will be available in a few hours.

signatures don't show when I'm logged in - only when I'm a guest, but I found it [color="#FF0000"]downunder[/color] for anyone whose browser behaves the same as mine

Thanks ..it was disabled...now sorted...don't know whether disabled is default... I have no recollection of changing.
