Use PDA/Navcore maps for Android ?

Postby peerke_poep » Thu Nov 27, 2014 9:06 am

Hi,

I'm wondering; Can I use e.g. Benelux map 940 from TomTom PDA/Navcor as a map for Android TomTom somehow ?
Thanks !

It's all about compatibility. For Android TomTom you can use 940.6004 and 940.5963 maps. As you can see, 940.5963 with META is here: maps-v9xx-f179/940-map-collections-only-t16463.html.

Hi Tarx1000, thanks so far !!

Ummm, sorry but to be a bit more specific; Can I just copy e.g. all files from the directory "Benelux_940_5963" from the PDA
map Benelux 940.5963, into the (android) directory /tomtom/com.tomtom.benelux/files/Benelux ? Because then my android
app TomTom Benelux tries to connect to the internet etc....

Thanks !!!
