960x540 for Primo anyone?

Postby exflyboy » Sun Aug 25, 2013 6:07 am

Hi guys,
after weeks of sorting out Primo on my Nexus 7 with your help. I am now trying to install Primo on my Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. Can anyone point me to a link or indeed just branding/data zips and possibly a working sys.txt would do. Apologies if there is a link somewhere on the site but I couldn't find one that was supported.

Thanks

Have the same mobile. Found me a version that works, but from a different forum. Comes with a data.zip for 800x480 and 1024x768 but works good in full screen mode. Not sure if I was allowed to post a link

No links to other gps forums are allowed, however you can 'borrow' the working link to the file(s) as long as you give credit to the uploader.

Thanks for your efforts guys, will wait to see what pans out. Have seen a link on another forum, not sure if it's the one but as usual it's always a minefield trying to download.

For me this one is doing fine:

Thanks to titisoim/arimi/Neoss75/Vamibg/gurjon/arkoko/Dreamteam

For 960x540 sys.txt should contain

[rawdisplay]
screen_xy="auto"

Have fun!

Hi again guys,
I seem to have a problem with running Primo on my Galaxy S4 mini, have installed the APK file and program on the external storage card, the Appinstaller finds the APK file and installs OK. When I run Primo it comes up with 'Missing or incomplete folder /data/data/com.navngo.igo.javaclient/license' Now I know that the license files are OK as they are exactly the same as my Nexus 7 tablet as are the maps and this is running OK. I have added the line to the folders section in sys.txt 'storage/extSdcard/iGO' with no joy. Can't think of anything else I can do, have redownloaded and reinstalled but still the same. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious here, can anybody help? Thanks

Have the same device. Dropped the IGO folder on SD, went to /igo on Sd and installed it from there. Works like a charm. No adjustments in sys.txt

Hi Bananengourmet,

Thanks for your reply. Have tried what you suggested with no joy, perhaps there is something wrong with my downloaded file. Would appreciate the link where you downloaded from....thanks

My version is the one in post #5. Just copied to SD with igo.apk inside that igo folder. Installed from there and worked straight away. Older versions must be uninstalled first.
I used the 1024x768 version with the apk renamed IGO and moved to igo folder.
content folder must be filles with at least one lang, one voice and one map.

Well it seems that there was one obvious thing that I didn't do was to check the sdcard itself. Used another card and hey presto, all working OK, That will teach me to use unbranded cards. My thanks for the help received on this to you guys. This problem is now solved.
