Google search

Postby mpourdas » Sat Nov 16, 2013 10:57 am

I had Primo 2.4 (9.6.29.329069) on an 960x540 android with google search working properly. I went back to a Primo 2.0 (9.6.7.318746) and I lost it. Now even if I go back to 2.4 it is still broken. I have also tried clean installs by starting without a save folder. All sys.txt entries as explained in tip no5 in

http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?10535-Primo-Android-9-6-7-TBM

are present. What can I do to troubleshoot/correct the issue?

Is it broken in the sense that the option is there but it doesn't work, or is it missing entirely?

It just does not work. All buttons and menus are there, but whatever search I try the result is "cannot connect to server".

I did a clean install of 2.4, after also formatting the SD card, and now I see that in the system.ini (in a subfolder of save) there is the entry

[naviextras]
connection_error_msg="Couldn't get device name. HTTP error: #417"
index_service_address="http://zippy.naviextras.com/services/index/rest/2"
saved_connect_server_addr="http://zippy.naviextras.com/services/register/rest/1/"

There is no config.ini generated inside the subfolder of license.
