GPS Fix

Postby 1888 » Sat Jan 24, 2015 1:25 am

Primo 2.4 in my sat nav and 9.6.2.9.390522 in the Android.

I am still having bother connecting to a GPS. I have taken out the binatone and this would connect almost before i put my seat belt on yet the android Kitkat can take a good 5 miles up the road. Now i was thinking something in the sys.txt is wrong and when i look all i have is this.....

[gps]
location_net=1
location_gps=1
background_navigation=1

Unlike the Binatone sat nave where i have options to change the port and baud like below

[gps]
port=7
baud=57600

Anything i can add to the Android sys.txt or is it just my phone? Sony Xperia E1.

Cheers

Sorry mate i should have came back and said solved.

Yeah i have been using GPS Status Toolbox what was helping but little did i know (or stupidly never noticed) almost every entry to my sys.txt had ; before it. Deleted all the ; entrys and changed the Baud and Port and its been fine. Shame it never cured my landscape/portrate problem but ill get that one day.

Cheers anyway. Appreciated. :023:
