Hi guys,

I'll be trying a few other apps, but of the free Android nav apps, the one I liked the most on my Samsung Galaxy S4 was "Navfree". I now have a car stereo that runs on Android ICS 4.0.4 and has its own dedicated GPS receiver, so would like to install a nav app on this. The unit is an Andrive AN-46, but I think the Android card in it is a Telechips something or other. I'll double check next time I'm out there.

From what I can work out, the GPS device talks to Android, and then the apps talk to Android... all apps pick up the GPS fine, except Navfree, which doesn't complain about no GPS signal, but sticks me dead centre of the map (somewhere in the Gulf of Guinea near Africa, while I'm actually in the UK).

Any ideas what might be causing this?
