reinstalled fine..no problems....but still same no satts being picked up??

As the app I linked to earlier didn't pick up the satellites either I would say it's a phone issue.

Has the device had a satellite lock before?
Do you have an active data connection so it can download the a-gps data?

Also it can take up to 30 minutes for the first satellite lock.

probably is phone issue as i have the dreaded black screen when making a nd recieving calls....have to take battery out of phone,,,and restart...also the proximatey sensor has been replaced several times in my phone...perhaps opening the phone up several times imay have done something to it....didnt really wait 30 min for sat to lock...think ill give up...how do you download the a-gps data on my phone..?

It should be done automatically, It's just the satellite data downloaded over the net rather than through the satellites, which is slow.

can confirm it doesnt work on htc desire s, as i installed it on my mates htc desire s as well and same problem...however bought a nexus 4 phone and works fine on there....even picks up the sats lol..

I have problems with my HTC Desire. I have installed the TomTom .apk file 1.1.1, but after installation the programs want to connect to TotTom server and does not see the folder in external memory.m I have installed the same program in Samsung tablet Galaxy 2 7.0 and works fine!
