I have a 4.2.1 smartphone and installed a TomTom 1.3 with Europe 920 map and everything is fine except the fact that it is frequently losing gps signal and starts searching for it over and over again. When the 3G is enabled, everything is fine, but when I turn it off it goes blind. So is there something like the QuickGPSFix that is used on the portable tomtom devices that could be used on the android devices and how can I avoid this searching for GPS signal every 1 or 2 minutes? With tomtom you do not need internet which is smarter and safer so not tracked.
turn on gps that's it.
Go to Google play and search and install FasterGPS.
Set country etc, 2 options to do, then it will create a config file.
That's it, start tomtom and you'll have no more issues bud
