Volkswagen navigation issue, iGO maps!!!

Hello all,

I have a problem with my navigation system of my uncle.

A year ago i have bought this navigation system for him at a.express and have installed it today. A hole year the navigation was not used/installed(new in box) till now.

Uhm in the meanwhile i know that i have ''installed'' a new iGO map for him but because the navigation was not installed, i did not have the chance to test of it works.

Now he installed it, and when he goes to Navigation he gets the next message.

''This application failed to start last time. Do you want to rest to factory defaults and lose all your POI's tracks and settings. Y / NO (When i press Y the navigation restarts but getting the same message.)

What to do???


Its not an original one, its a different onee!!!!!

You have to use a suitable Primo application file - not all of them work on Chinese 2DIN systems. Trial and error for this.
You have to use a correctly set "sys" file, or modify the existing one according to instructions found in this forum.
You also need a suitable "global_cfg" file.
If you do not find a working configuration to download, it'll take some reading to make it work yourself.
