Looking at the specs it says : "db: EU (2009Q4)"
Does it mean that the same old (outdated) set of maps like version 7.1 it supplied with this DVD ??

yes possible but its v7.2 so its a minor fix .
whe it is v8 then its a major updated DVD.
So try it and you know .

Hmmm mine doesn't work in my SKODA Columbus (2011).
It says that there is an error on the DVD ....

This list is there for a reason ! When your burner is not on that list, there is no guarantee the DVD will be recognized.
Also Verbatim DVD+R DL DVD are recommended.

As to burning software, Alcohol120% and Imgburn seem to give good results. Burn at a low speed !!!
