how can i find any updates of the becker maps pilot?
where can i find what kind of maps this system use?
the maps at this moment are q4-2012

any idea?

what about software update? someone any idea?

Is it a Becker device or an inbuild Mercedes device we are talking about?
If it is a Becker GPS, then go to igo section and get the maps there, copy them to SD or internal memory.
If it is a Mercedes inbuild, this a CD/DVD with maps, then the place to ask is here : mercedes-benz-f110/

well, it's buildin device in a mercedes.
called becker map pilot. kind of a "black box" unit.

when you have to update it, you will have to take out the blackbox and connect this, with usb cable, to your computer...
nothing with cd/dvd....

I am not familiar with these Devices. When connected to the computer can you explore the device? And what do you see?

Becker often works with iGO or Primo programs (rebuilded by or for Becker). Both iGO and Primo use maps (from Navteq/Here or TomTom/TeleAtlas) with the extension .fbl
However this one seems NOT to be an IGO/Primo based program since the maps and file structure isn't the same.
