Hello, Just joined this group as I have bought a BMW F31 2018. It has a GPS system fitted as standard, but seems to be a little out of date. The bit I seem to have found in the idrive is as follows:

Automatic map update:
FR, MC 2021-1
Now I am not sure what "way" maps are compared to any other maps, but I would like to update them.
I came across this thread and had a go at downloading the maps, not knowing how I will put them into the car when I have them downloaded. I find that I can only download one 100mb part of the Europe maps and then will have to wait a while to download the rest, is there a reason for this? Seems to be a pain if I don't even know if I can update the car in the end.

Hello,have you solved your problem?I have the same problem,is the line under the folder name the fsc code?But then what do the numbers under automatic folder update mean? Hope you can help me out.greatings Neyke.
