Here's a question:
Besides littering up the forum with useless posts, why is it so urgent to be able to send a PM to somebody?

If you go on this way, it will take long to get 5. I can delete some, you know ;) Or merge them:D

The intention is that your posts should have some value to this forum, which is a GPS forum!
So either questions (not like "what color is the sun?" - you get my drift: GPS related thus) or a contribution of any kind - and this could even be a joke (see the fun thread). But posting 'first post' 'second post' 'third' is hardly what I call "of value"

You can post your question (when it is iGO related) in the iGO General discussion forum: http://www.navitotal.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?87-General-Discussions-about-iGO-core. Or in the appropriate section when it is not iGO related. Or even here. Unless it is personal ? ;)

A good trick is to add a dummy file to the file to upload and rar it in the upload. Like a simple text file. Rename the rarred file. Like "Tomato_recipe.zip" or "holidaypics.rar". That way the uploaded file is more difficult to identify for the "hunters". Then just pick a host and hope that the links will stay alive for some time. These were valid hosters last week

Did you look in the sent folder? If it shows there, then it was sent and probably received.

I find FTP tends to be quite slow.

Also adding a password to your archive and encrypting filenames means the hoster can't examine it.
