Rate? Are you kidding? Alaska is probably the most beautiful state in the US. Blue icebergs - wow!

That's why we moved from Hawaii - got tired of importing snow for my siberian huskies. More dogs than people, more coastline than the rest of the US combined, only 3 highways, the highest number of private pilots per population, over half a million lakes and if they cut Alaska in two, Texas becomes the third largest State - ain't big enough! :)

Have you ever played midnight golf sans lights???????? Come up to Fairbanks June 21, summer solstice, and you can play golf at midnight, watch a baseball game, all with 21 hours of daylight. Yep we just had our 3 hours of daylight on the 21st, now we gain 6 minutes or so a day...
