Can you rename nav-u-.exe to something else such as old-nav-u-.exe? Because if we try something now, you'll still have the old program on your device so you could rename the .exe back.
Did you make a complete backup of your device FIRST - just in case? Let's try this. Download this http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?6880-Igo8-March-16-2011 see edit 3. Copy it to your internal drive [note the names of ALL the files/folders in case you need to delete them later]. Rename the igo8.exe to nav-u-.exe and keep your fingers crossed. Shutdown your device, re-start and hope.

You may need to make internal editing changes. Play around a little.
Mounted Volume\igo8\igo8.exe
You might need to add this to your sys.txt:
