Third thing: I don't really understand your question.

All GPS devices experience some lag, Some more than others...

What GPS software?
Is the delay the problem or do you want to change the time for the audio warning?
Without proper information we can not give any answer as this would be a guessing game.

i'm sorry..
i want to know how the sftware papago, sygic and ndrive work internel calculation to measure distance. as i know, receiver and satellite have delay when transfer data. so, when we reach at junction sometime the gps and the actual not same.

There are several factors that influence GPS lag...

The GPS system is basically 30'ish clocks all synchronized together and transmitting down to earth from a geo-stationary orbit.
The GPS receiver needs to receive at least three of these signals before it can determine it's location, It uses the difference in the time received from each satellite to work out it's location.

So GPS lag can be caused by errors in transmission such as reflections from buildings and trees, the type of receiver installed, how the GPS software processes the GPS data, Atmospherics and so on...

Surely the car's odometer and clock will measure distance and time..?

Any sat-nav will also do this.

A car odometer measures distance, a clock measures time.
A functioning GPS device may be more accurate at both.
What, exactly, is it that you are trying to do?

What exactly are you trying to do? Every vehicle has some form of trip counter which keeps a record of miles traveled and a clock.

Is it for some form of vehicle speed testing or for legal reasons? if so you'll need a more accurate GPS receiver than your average PNA.

i'm in last year student and currently doing final year project.. in my project i want to look at accuracy of information notification for navigation software and i used galaxy s for my platform.. what i trying to ask when a car reach at junction, sometime the display in gps not reach.. so in here there are gap.. that i want to know what these parameter...
