Depends on what menu you're using...

I posted a simple menu system for CE some time ago.
You call it for the ususal GPS soft, so instead you get a menu with icons and shortcute to what you need.
If I'm not mistaken I included a battery and memory bar as well.
Might be a bit of overkill for two programs though...

The software needed is called systeminformation1.6. This is a menu builder software for wince, most device unlocks use this software, download one and see how it works...

You will need to have an understanding of script editing, although most commands are obvious.

I attached a simple menu that you can adjust to your needs so you don't have to start from scratch.
3911
To check the menu on your PC before trying on the device run the SystemInformation32.exe
For the GPS you use the Menu.exe and will get the same on your devic as you set it up on the PC.
Please check the .ini files and it will get pretty clear how it works.

If I'm not mistaken a double tap on an empty part of the screen should turn the menu off.

Add the command..

QuitOnExecute = yes

To the exit button section in the ini file, don't put a command line there.

Instead of using ICONXPBUTTON you can use BITMAPBUTTON and use bitmap images instead of icon files...

Example...
BITMAPBUTTON
x = 168
y = 75
Command = \Storage Card\Primo\iGO.exe
BitmapNormal = ..\Icons\iGO.bmp
BitmapPushed = ..\Icons\iGO.bmp

Should be a bit easier working with bitmaps.
Currently sleeping...
