I have just discovered JDownloader!!!!! seems to be very good,am I really that far behind in this tech world.

I tried JDownloader for a short time. Didn't like it & switched to Cryptload. Been using it ever since. I suggest you try them both, then pick your favorite.

I have downloaded Cryptload but every time i try to start it i get the message "unable to find a version of runtime to run this application"

Windows XP?
Get Framework 2.
Framework 3.5 should be okay too, but 4 is not.

Thanks to all above now using Cryptload and yes it is XP have downloaded framework2 and all working.
