Linking GPS to Computer

Postby RoadnTrail » Wed May 02, 2012 6:31 pm

Hi,

I am trying to link my desktop computer with my GPS device. I have the wire plugged into the USB port of the computer and the mini USB port of the GPS device. The computer does not recognize the GPS device. I have done this before quite a while ago but either I forgot or my computer forgot how to create a link. I think it has something to do with a sync.

I would appreciate any help that you could give me. My computer is running Windows 7.

Thank you very much.

Breaker Breaker.... Ignore this post. I must have had a bad connection.

Does your device require WMDC to be installed?

You can't believe how many members simply plug the USB cable into their computer and expect the device to show up in "my computer." You have to turn the device "on" to see it.

Breaker Breaker.... FFR: It really helps us, if you post the make & model of your unit. "Gps device" is of no help.
