I have a widows ce6 device that wont connect using mobile device centre, it does actually connect and i hear it and see it on the device, but only for a split second. It then comes up with the error " unable to see mobile device", i have searched and searched for an anwser but still cant find anything, please can someone hwlp me.

Also this will be a problem with the device, normally connection problems are only solved with a hard reset, unless it's a problem with the USB controller inside the device.

WMDC is rubbish anyway.

I have/had the same problem with my PocketPC to connect to my DELL windows 8.1 portable inspiron 15.
The problem is/was with McAfee. When I disable the McAfee firewall it will connect. I have not figured out yet what to change in the firewall setting to make it connect with de firewall active.
