HI all !

Last day my friend brought me a A-rival NACA 300 GPS.
I've never seen this brand before. The problem is it is not starting. I only see a logo when it's on. I'm searching firmwire for this for 1week but no score.
Can anyone help ???

Can you connect it to a computer using the USB port? If so, what do you see? Have you tried Googling the name? Can you link to specifications?
If it ain't broke don't fix it!

From a very quick Google search it appears to be a generic MobileNavigator type device that runs...

\Maptrip\Maptrip.exe

Should be easy enough to figure out from there...

Unless someone's been fiddling with the registry...

First problem is that i cannot connect it with USB. It's only shows the "ARIVAL" logo, and i think Win CE is not booting up. So i cannot see in WIN7 neither in WIN XP. I tried with firmwires of other devices from SD card but it isn't working...

Any ideas ??

It sounds like a registry problem, (HKLM\init) Changing the values here will cause similar problems, The only way to recover the device is to perform a hard reset, if that's not possible, and a lot of the time it isn't, then a firmware flash will hard reset it, but the files are hard to find at the best of times, and sometimes the hardware looks for a digital signature within the image so only the correct image will flash.

Did your friend give any explanation as to why the device doesn't boot?
