8.4N RB5 Reflash Error - Help!

Postby gofarr » Sun Aug 23, 2015 3:36 pm

Hi - New to the forum - you guys seem to know the answers, so I thought I would join up!

I have a 2014 Chrysler 300C with the 8.4N RB5. I was reflashing it with the latest NAV update, and foolishly let the power time out. Now, when I try to start the navigation, it constantly cycles through the startup screen with the Chrysler and Garmin logos, but will go no further. If I try to reflash, it says "Error on reflashing Error Code: 0x 31A0". I called Connect support, and they told me that I have to go to the dealer.

Is there anyway to fix this on my own? Any input would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Car navigation system Error on Reflashing. Errorcode: 0x 3

Postby commande2000 » Sat Feb 22, 2020 8:28 pm

I have a 2015 Maserati that uses the Chrysler maps...
Starts update and then system stops with the message " Error on Reflashing. Errorcode: 0x 31A2"... Only maps that even attempted to load is the first gmapprom(8420).rar link listed... None of the others work, states maps are incompatible with system... Is there a work around for this issue?

Moderator note
This nothing to do with maps,it is to do with you car navigation system. More information would make it possible to point you to the correct thread for your device.

I had the same issue when trying to use a Europe 2021.10 update. In the end, the only thing that solved it was updating on the United Kingdom & Ireland 2021.10 NT update which worked. I only needed the UK file anyway, however now have lost junction view, which I'm trying to get back on

I hope someone has already got to resolve this issue. I installed the latest Uconnect 8.4 radio update (Fiat Freemont 2014) and everything worked perfectly. After couple days the GPS (navigator) stopped working and appears only inside the Navigator icon - - When I click on the navigator icon a black screen opens. Everything works in Uconnect except the GPS. When I trying to install gupdate.gcd through Dealer Mode (Garmin Recovery Update), 5 seconds after inserting the USB show me Errorcode: 0x 31A0 . I tryed 4 diferents gupdate.gcd (CTP's) with diferents pen-drives and had no successess. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Does Somebody has a gupdate.gcd to install without problem?
