RB5 Uconnect touch 8.4N Map update needed

Hello, I stumbled on this forum looking for info about some problems I am experiencing with a Garmin U-connect on my Fiat Freemont (that, I understand, is a twin of the Dodge Journey). I live in Italy, so pls be patient, the navigator is in Italian so I'll try to translate as best as I can. I managed to update the navigator (CPT2012, sw 4.14) to the new map NT 2015.20, using the usb stick and without (apparent) problems. The map are updated, and the navigator seems to work, except... First of all, the USB contains the top level Garmin directory, with gmapprom.img and gmap3d.img, the directory ASR with the related 8 ASR files (04CS9K3L.ASR,...04CS9K3S.ASR) and one 04CS9K3K.SRX, the directory JCV with the lane assist file D2504170A.jcv, and also the directories SQlite and G2S. I am not sure that 3D, SQlite and G2s are supported, anyway there they are. The first problem is that some voice commands do not work any longer (similar to the problem of the australian friend moparlife): the voice says "Select a category" (in Italian, of course), and if I ask "Find address", "intersections", "Coordinates" a message pops out that says that there is no available support for the voice commands for this function for the installed language, please use touch screen. If I ask "point of Interest" or "previous destinations", ok. Looking into the disk with FileManager (garmin secret menu), there is no 3D img file, in ASR there are all my files (and in addition there are also all the language SRD files, probably automatically generated) and nothing else: in fact (and this is the second problem) the JCV file did not get loaded into the JCV directory.
Can someone explain what I am doing wrong? I have no problem admitting I am a real newbie. Thanks in advance
Robert

Check PM, you have a link to 4.08 CTP13 there. After update go up to CTP15 - it works much faster and more reliable.

We have created step-by-step instructions how how to update the maps yourself on the UConnect 8.4 systems here:

HOW TO: Map Update on Uconnect CTP11 & CTP12 (2011 - 2012) http://www.chargerforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=236665

HOW TO: Map Update on Uconnect CTP13+ (2013 - 2014) http://www.chargerforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=236649

These are updated with the file names when new maps come out, which is 4 times a year!

I have my pictures here:

I would like to compare if it`s just a matter of software or these UConnects are physically different.
To enter dealer mode press and hold both temperature buttons from the driver side (blue+red) and Windshield Defrost button. You need to hold these 3 buttons until Dealer Mode turns on.
To make a screenshot you need to hold the same temperature buttons + rear window defrost button you hold those 3 button until screen skips and pop up windows shows up with information about successfully taken picture. Of course you must have a pendrive plugged in.
Thanks in advance.
Below you find mine.

vinegaroon try once again or use another pendrive, download mapset from another source. gmapprom.img file is missing in Garmin directory on your CTP, only basemaps are available.
